About Ranis

At Ranis, we strive to create delicious ice cream products that also provide extra nutrition in everyday life. Therefore, we have developed our special protein ice cream and energy ice cream in close cooperation with dietitians, so that taste, quality, and nutrition go hand in hand.

Our enriched ice cream is developed for people who need extra energy and protein – including the elderly, the sick, and individuals with challenges related to appetite or weight gain. The products serve as a delicious and appetizing snack without compromising on taste.

Protein ice cream contains extra protein, while energy ice cream has a higher energy content. Both varieties are made from local quality ingredients and are available in chocolate, vanilla, lemon, and strawberry flavors.

Ranis has received EU support through LAG Haderslev-Tønder for upgrading the production of our enriched ice cream. The purpose of the project is to further develop and increase production, so that even more people in need of extra nutrition can access tasty and nutritious products. At the same time, the project contributes to creating more jobs locally in Haderslev.
With many years of experience, we have developed our own recipe, where an Italian base is combined with carefully selected ingredients and fresh milk, which is pasteurized to achieve the classic creamy consistency.

We use ingredients from both local and international suppliers, focusing on high quality and good taste. Our gelato has a lower fat percentage than traditional ice cream, while our sorbet – made with plenty of fruit – is 100% vegan and contains a minimum of additives.

The ice cream is produced daily in the shop, so you always get a fresh product. In addition to ice cream, we also offer Italian coffee and milkshakes, and we are happy to deliver to both private individuals and businesses for special events.
